The Very First Photograph

You’ve probably snapped a picture in the last few days, right? With cameras in our phones, in our tablets, and on the front of our computers.Well,we always love taking pictures. But you might be wondering when we started taking pictures.

"Boulevard du Temple" By Louis Daguerre.
The First Photo With A Person, 1838

Because early photographic procedures took a long time to expose, any moving people would disappear in the frame. However, this picture of a busy street became the first photograph with a person because the shoe shiner at the bottom left stayed still.

The Very First Selfie

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who love selfies, and those who hate fun. Just kidding. But either you hate selfies or you love them,i don't care.. i love selfies.

I want you to know that I love it when you guys post pictures of yourself. They give me a little window into your life. I love your pictures because I love seeing what you’re wearing – the outfits.

I love seeing how you do your hair and makeup. I love when you take selfies in your house. It’s neat to see where you live. When your place is cluttered, it makes me feel better about my own messy bedroom.

But i was also wondering who took the very first selfie ever?

So i searched on google... and this guy appeared.

Robert Cornelius (March 1, 1809 – August 10, 1893) was an American pioneer of photography and lamp manufacturer.

The world’s first selfie, taken in 1839 by Robert Cornelius from Philadelphia, was also the first ever photographic portrait of a human being.

On the back he wrote “The first light Picture ever taken. 1839.”

So i was like "Wow, cool..so this guy took the very first selfie ever? Isn't Amazing? ".

The Very First Mirror Selfie Ever

When I find myself in front of the mirror, I make faces. I’ve done that ever since I can remember. I want to know what different expressions feel like. I want to be aware of the form of self-expression that is my body and my face. I want to know how I’m opening my mouth when I sing. And i also love taking mirror selfies.

Then i was wondering again, who took the very first mirror selfie ever?

Russian Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna at the age of 13 was one of the first teenagers to take her own picture using a mirror to send to a friend in 1914.

In the letter that accompanied the photograph, she wrote, "I took this picture of myself looking at the mirror. It was very hard as my hands were trembling.

Since I was a child, I’d always loved looking through old photographs, boxes, and clothing belonging to my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. Something always seemed much more romantic and simple about the past.

If I could travel back in time to any decade, it would be the 1900's.
I would go to a hair dresser right away and get the Vintage Updo Hairstyle. So I am going to wait for time travel to become possible - and go to the hair dresser to give me the perfect look of a Vintage Updo Hairstyle.

The second thing I would do once I arrived back in the 1900's would be to go shopping and buy a lifetimes supply of outfits. It would be super amazing to go back in time and stock up on one's most desired fashions.
I literally daydream about doing just that sometimes.

I would really love to go back to that era. The music, fashion, theatre... everything looks so wonderful.

Well, I love old things. There’s something about the design of clothes, books and homewares, even posters and buildings, which is mostly elegant and beautiful.

I love the full skirts – they can make anyone feel like a Princess. Vintage clothes were very well made and that is exactly why many of them still exist today.

I think, for me, dressing and loving vintage is the most amazing way to connect to a time period 1940s-50s that feels like home.

There is something about everything from the walls and the curtains, to the floors to the telephone and to the wall clocks.

Aside from her voice and songs, I really love how she dresses up for her life, it’s like she loves playing dress up game or trying on fun costumes especially her outfits in her music videos which have been so amazing to watch.

And her outfit in 22 music video has been my favorite outfit inspiration and the truth is Taylor never goes out of style.

I love her vintage-inspired looks and she is all about red lips, an oxford shirt, vintage dresses, pleated skirts, vintage handbags.

No matter what she wears, she always walks with her head held high and with biggest confidence. She can easily rock any style and still look effortlessly chic, no matter her age.
